NexGen Health and Wellness was established May 1, 2019 with the goal of providing safe, effective, and preventative healthcare through medical weight loss and testosterone replacement (for those who qualify for TRT).

At NexGen Health and Wellness, your experience is what matters to us. A quick, efficient, but informative visit will be what you experience at the office. We are proud to serve a wide variety of individuals and take a consultative approach to finding solutions that work for each individual’s set of needs. Our team of nurse practitioners, doctors, wellness coaches, and medical assistants work together truly care about your progress and we love what we do!

Dawn Barrom, ANP-BC

Dawn Barrom, ANP-BC, graduated from The University of Memphis, Loewenberg School of Nursing, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing in 1994 and the University of South Alabama with a Master’s in Nursing in 2010.  She holds a certification as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner and is Board-Certified.

Dawn opened NexGen Health and Wellness in June of 2019 in Bartlett, Tennessee. In the 2019 and 2020 Reader’s Choice Awards for Bartlett, she was voted Bartlett’s Best Nurse. NexGen Health and Wellness was voted Best Medical Clinic and Best Weight Loss Center.

Dawn has been married to her husband, Dewayne for 26 years. They have two children, Dillon, age 23 who is Lineman Apprentice at MLGW. Dillon is newly married to Jackie, a kindergarten teacher. Dawn and Dewayne’s daughter, Daylee, age 21, is a senior at the University of Memphis Loewenberg School of Nursing. When Daylee graduates, she plans on going back to anesthesia school to become a Certified Nurse Anesthetist.  

Dawn enjoys college football, watching Daylee compete with her horses in barrel racing events, traveling, spending weekends at her river house on the Tennessee River and outdoor activities, especially fishing and hunting with her husband.

Our Healthcare Services:

Testosterone Replacement.
Weight Loss consultation (which could include dispensing Phentermine from the office, or a written RX for Saxenda or other weight loss medications).
B12 injections, Vitamin C and B-complex injections, Immunity Boost injections, Lipo injections, GAC for muscle recovery, IV re-hydration (plus other IV drip formulas).
Sinus infection evaluation (which may include a sinus cocktail injection or RX antibiotic such as a zpack or amoxicillin).
Erectile dysfunction medications (for those men with those concerns, which include Viagra {Sildenafil} or Cialis {Tadalafil} both in tablets or troches and dispensed from the office).
